‘Our Mutual Enemy’: Campaign Consultant For RFK Jr. Tells Republicans Her Top Priority Is Making Sure Biden Loses
A New York state campaign consultant for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent presidential campaign reportedly said that her main goal was to help ensure that President Joe Biden does not win re-election in November.
Rita Palma, according to a piece published by the New York Post, told a group of Republican voters several days prior — on April 5 — that Biden was a “mutual enemy” for those who support Kennedy’s campaign and those who support the likely Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump.
“The only way that Trump can even [have a] remote possibility of taking New York is if Bobby is on the ballot. If it’s Trump vs. Biden, Biden wins. Biden wins six days, seven days a week. With Bobby in the mix, anything can happen,” Palma told the crowd, according to CNN. “Whether you support Bobby or Trump, we all oppose Biden. And my thoughts are that’s the number one priority in the country. I’m going to vote for Bobby.”
Palma went on to say that, while she was adamantly opposed to Biden, the prospect of a second term for Trump did not concern her.
“However, if I wake up Nov. 6, and Trump wins, I’m not going to be overly upset. But if Biden wins, we’re all going to be terribly upset because he’s ruining America. And the people that control him are ruining our country,” she explained.
Palma shared her strategy in another clip that circulated via X: Republicans in solidly blue states should vote Kennedy, she said, arguing that if some Democrats did the same, Biden could lose enough votes overall to give Trump the final victory.

In the same clip, Palma pointed to actions being taken by the Biden-Harris campaign — namely, a coordinated effort to destroy any independent campaigns for the presidency — as proof that the president was concerned that Kennedy could siphon enough votes away to make a difference.
