Kyle Richards’ Ex Mauricio Umansky’s Family’s Bitter Feud Exposed

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards’ estranged husband Mauricio Umansky’s family’s drama heated up in court, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge awarded Mauricio’s sister, Sharon Umansky Benton, $32,000 in legal fees from Simin Tabibnia.

Simin, 68, is the longtime girlfriend of Maurico, 54, and Sharon’s father, Eduardo Umansky. The legal fees were awarded as part of a restraining order battle between Sharon, 52, and Simin.

The court granted Sharon a permanent restraining order against Simin. The order prohibits Simin from coming within 100 yards of Sharon.

In court documents, Sharon accused Simin of isolating Eduardo, 81, from his family and friends.

Sharon wrote, “[Simin] keeps him isolated, so I have been trying to visit more often which is why this is happening more. She hides his phone from him and is abusive to him as well but he is old and afraid to be alone and she claims to have some kind of evidence against him for some reason so he stays with her.”

She continued, “I don’t know what all that is but she is attempting to keep me away from my father while she convinces him to give her all his money.”

Sharon accused Simin of getting physical with her on September 27.

In her petition, Sharon claimed Simin struck her, bit her and ripped out her hair. She said Simin was “unhinged” and physically attacked her again on October 25.

Simin denied the accusations that she isolated Eduardo, got physical with Sharon or that she was taking advantage of Eduardo in any manner. In her plea for a restraining order against Sharon, Simin claimed Sharon was the aggressor, not her.

Simin also claimed that Sharon was upset after learning that she and Eduardo had plans to get married.

At the hearing on the matter, the court reviewed the evidence and heard testimony. The judge granted Sharon’s petition, but Simin’s was denied.

As a result, Sharon asked that her legal fees be paid. Simin objected to the $35,000 request, claiming it was “absurd.”

As In Touch first reported, Mauricio and Sharon filed a petition to place Eduardo under a conservatorship and for them to be named conservators of his estate earlier this year.

In the filing, Mauricio and Sharon wrote, “Over the course of the past few months, [Eduardo’s] girlfriend has become more controlling limiting and regulating who [Eduardo] can visit with. She has begun to isolate him and is trying to get married even though they have been together for twenty years and never decided that they wanted to marry.”

Sharon told the court, “[Eduardo] is unable to resist undue influence and fraud and has been taken advantage of by his girlfriend. Over the court of the past eighteen months, [Eduardo] and [Mauricio and Sharon] have discovered that she has taken, secreted and appropriated more than $260,000 from [Eduardo] through undue influence, whether physical or emotional and/or fraud.”

The court appointed Mauricio and Sharon as co-conservator’s of their father’s finances.

As In Touch first reported, Mauricio and his real estate company The Agency are facing a federal lawsuit over PPP loans. They denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
