Trump announces ‘official sneaker’ selling for $399 a pair in surprise appearance following $355M NY civil fraud trial outcome
Donald Trump is literally trying to big foot his way back to the White House.
The Republican frontrunner on Saturday launched a new sneaker line, including golden “Never Surrender high-tops,” during a surprise appearance at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia.
“President Trump’s official sneaker,” –which is also adorned with American flag logos – runs $399 a pop and is available in limited supply, according to the website hawking them.
A low-top style is also offered in either “T-Red” or “POTUS” white, both with a golden “45” on the side. The slip-ons sell for $199.
The website also features “Victory 47” perfume in a golden bottle with a stopper modeled after Trump’s head for $99.
“I’ve wanted to do this for a long time,” Trump told the large crowd of sneaker lovers, who chanted “USA, USA” as he walked on stage to promote the product in a 5-minute stopover before heading to a campaign event in Michigan.
“I have some incredible people that work with me on things, and they came up with this, and this is something I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years. I think it’s gonna be a big success.”
Trump – who was ordered by a New York judge Friday to pay $355 million for allegedly inflating his net worth to dupe banks and insurers – is also hawking other lines of “never surrender” items, including t-shirts and mugs.
