Audrey Fualaau, the eldest daughter of Mary Kay Letourneau and Vili Fualaau, is pregnant and expecting baby No. 1 with fiancé Ethan Tela Porter.
“I’m so excited! I can’t wait to find out if you’re a boy or girl. You’re so loved already baby,” Audrey, 27, shared via TikTok on Wednesday, December 11, alongside a clip of her sonogram.
In a previous video the Washington native revealed that her first trimester “has been rough,” as she battles to keep her type 1 diabetes under control.
“But a1c is down to 9 now. And should definitely be within a good range in the next month or so,” she captioned her December 7 video. “My sugar levels before this were kinda like out of control because I’m a terrible diabetic, and I don’t take care of myself. As soon as I found out I was pregnant it kind of like kick started everything into place like, ‘Oh my god, I need to start taking better care of myself,’” she said.
On top of the exciting news of her pregnancy, Audrey also recently shared that she got engaged.
“On 11/11/2024 I said YES!” she captioned a video of her sparkling engagement ring. “I can’t believe i get to marry the man of my dreams. Soon to be Mrs. Ethan Porter. I love you forever @Eway !!! You make me so happy! To [infinity] and beyond in this life and after. God brought us together and i’m never letting you go.”
Mary Kay and Vili, 41, were headline news in the 1990s for their scandalous student-teacher relationship. After sneaking around for months when she was 34 and he was just 13 years old, a relative of Letourneau’s first husband turned her in to authorities. Mary Kay was seven months pregnant with their first child, Audrey, at the time. She pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree child rape and was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison. Audrey was born as she awaited her sentencing.
Mary Kay was caught violating her probation by contacting Vili upon her release from prison. She was taken back into custody and later discovered to be pregnant with their second child. Daughter Georgia Fualaau was born in October 1998 while Letourneau was behind bars.
Upon her second release from prison, Mary Kay and Vili got married in May. They ultimately divorced in 2019 after a “publicity stunt” separation in 2017, and Mary Kay died of colon cancer at age 58 in July 2020. Vili went on to welcome a third daughter, Sophia, in May 2022.
Audrey’s little one will be Vili’s second grandchild as Georgia, 26, announced she welcomed her first child, son Liam, in January.
“I’m very excited to become a mother. I have an amazing mother to prepare me for these years to come,” she said in the September 2023 interview with People. “I think maybe at first it would be kind of shocking, because I am her baby, but after that, she’d be the most excited grandmother-to-be.”
