Glenn: THIS is why we should leave the United Nations
In some cases, highly paid United Nations peacekeepers have done anything but keep the peace.
One of these blue helmets, Bourguet, 40, earned $7,000 a month and was in charge of transportation and logistics at the UN peacekeeping mission in Goma.
Bourguet was giving money to local minors in exchange for sex and was later arrested by French authorities accused of raping at least 20 girls, some as young as 12.
The United Nations promised to help the victims, but that promise was never fulfilled.
Needless to say, Glenn Beck does not believe the United Nations is worth maintaining.
“We have heard about peacekeepers raping women and children for decades. Decades. And no one has done anything about it,” Glenn tells Pat Gray, adding: “They’re not just inept or ineffective. “They are evil.”
Now, Mike Lee, Chip Roy and Rep. Mike Rogers of Alabama are pushing a proposal that would sever all our ties to the UN and all of its affiliated entities, including the World Health Organization.
“No more blank checks for the United Nations. “America’s hard-earned dollars have been funneled into initiatives that run counter to our values, enabling tyrants, betraying allies, and spreading intolerance,” Chip Roy wrote in a statement.
“With the DEFUND Act,” he continued, “we are moving away from this debacle. If we engage with the UN in the future, it will be on our terms, with full support from the Senate and an ironclad escape clause.”
Glenn fully supports their cause because he is well aware that the UN does not support the people, but the elites.
“This is not a war against Republicans or Democrats. This is truly between the elites and the people, and that’s what’s happening all over the world,” says Glenn.
