Social media veterinarian posts clips performing deadly medical procedures on pets

A deranged California woman was arrested after allegedly posting disturbing social media videos of herself performing unauthorized medical procedures on animals — actions police say left at least one dog dead.
Amanahy Becerra, 24, of Visalia, was taken into custody April 29 after investigators accused her of carrying out veterinary procedures without proper qualifications or training, according to the Visalia Police Department.
The case has generation a lot of reaction from those in the Valley as videos of the alleged operations circulated on social media.
Multiple animals suffered serious health problems because of her alleged actions and needed emergency veterinary care.
“Detectives also determined that proper anesthesia was not used, leaving animals to endure intense and unnecessary pain,” Visalia PD wrote on Instagram.
Authorities said detectives served a search warrant at Becerra’s home and arrested her without incident.
She was later booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Detention Facility. The investigation remains ongoing.
