Who Is Abbey Romeo From Love on the Spectrum? Meet the Show’s Star

Fans first fell in love with Abbey Romeo during Love on the Spectrum season 1, which premiered on Netflix in 2022. Viewers have had a front row seat to her love life as she went from a single girl to envisioning her wedding to David Isaacman.

Who Is ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Star Abbey Romeo?

Abbey was one of the original cast members of the Netflix show Love on the Spectrum, which follows a group of singles on the autism spectrum as they navigate the world of dating.

“Abbey was mainstreamed until second grade, then moved to an autism school. She attended a vocational program after high school to learn job skills,” her official biography states. “In a textiles program, she started learning to use a loom to make scarves and hats. But once she graduated, she couldn’t seem to take that skill and apply it to life.”

Since the Netflix show’s premiere, Abbey has found success on TikTok, where she shares life updates and original music videos with her 2.1 million followers. In addition, the reality TV alum launched a website where she sells merchandise to her fans, including homemade hats.

“Ms. Carol, [a teacher] who had retired, came to Abbey’s home in her spare time to teach her how to make hats on a hand loom,” the site explained. “Abbey’s mom, Christine, hoped Abbey would find a sense of purpose and accomplishment from this manageable hat business. With Ms. Carol’s help, that dream became a reality. Family and friends began to support Abbey with hat purchases, and the rest is history.”

Are ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Stars Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman Still Together?

Abbey found love with David on Love on the Spectrum season 1 after meeting him at a speed dating event.

They first connected during a visit to a wildlife learning center, bonding over their shared love of lions. Since then, their relationship has been full of adventure — including a memorable trip to Africa, where they saw lions, lionesses, and cubs in the wild.

Abbey confirmed her relationship with David was still going strong in an interview with Tudum on April 7, 2025. Fans watched as Abbey serenaded David with an original song in the Love on the Spectrum season 3 finale, later revealing the name of the song was “Boyfriend Forever.”

“I wrote this song last summer, and I wanted to do a tribute to David, because he is the best boyfriend, and I never want to lose him,” Abbey told the publication. “My favorite part of the song is [when] I say at the beginning, ‘You’re the lion to my lioness, the milk to my Chardonnay,’ because he drinks milk and I like wine and we both LOVE lions.”

The couple will mark their four-year anniversary in the summer of 2025, and they’ve shared that they have exciting plans in the works — including an overnight getaway at the San Diego Safari Park and a possible getaway to Italy or the Bahamas.

As for if they are eager to tie the knot, the couple said they are waiting for the right time. “We already feel like we’re married from the inside,” Abbey told TODAY.com. “We are not ready to do the real thing yet,” David added.
