Trump’s Next Town Hall Will Have Only Women In The Crowd

Former President Donald Trump will appear at a Fox News town hall next week with an all-female audience.

In a statement on Friday, Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner talked about moderating the town hall and said she looked forward to giving viewers more information about where Trump stands on a host of issues, The Hill reported.

Women constitute the largest group of registered and active voters in the United States, so it is paramount that female voters understand where the presidential candidates stand on the issues that matter to them most,” Faulkner’s statement read.

“I am looking forward to providing our viewers with an opportunity to learn more about where former President Trump stands on these topics,” she added.

On the “Faulkner Focus,” Faulkner talked about the town hall and said that it’s essential that “voters understand where these presidential candidates stand on the issues, which they say matters most to them.”

The Fox News anchor said the issues they will discuss will include the economy, abortion, immigration, health care, daycare, childcare, and more.

“Members of the audience will put their questions to former President Trump…” Faulkner said.

The town hall will be taped on Tuesday, October 15, in Cumming, Georgia, and will air the next day in the morning on the Fox News network, The Hill noted.

The news outlet said it has also extended an invite to Vice President Kamala Harris for a similar town hall. No word at the time of this publication if she has accepted.

On Wednesday, Fox News Media announced that it has offered the presidential candidates a chance to debate in Pennsylvania on either Thursday, October 24, or Sunday, October 27. The news channel said that Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum would moderate the debate. Neither campaign has agreed publicly to either dates so far.

Harris did not agree to debate Trump on Fox News on September 4. The September 4 debate was initially scheduled to take place between Trump and President Joe Biden on ABC until Biden dropped out of the race following his disastrous debate against Trump on June 27.

Two days after Trump and Harris met for the first time on the debate stage, the Republican nominee said he would not debate Harris again.
