Trump unleashes on Kim Reynolds: ‘The most unpopular governor in the entire United States’
Former President Donald Trump criticized Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds in a video his campaign released Tuesday for endorsing one of his opponents, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Trump made the comments after Reynolds said in an NBC News interview earlier this month that the last time he spoke to the former president was when he “called me to ask if I would endorse him and I said no.” [going to endorse him].”
“Kim Reynolds of Iowa has gone from a popular governor to the most unpopular governor in the entire United States of America,” Trump said. “It is not an easy feat. His endorsement of Ron DeSanctimonious, who is 50 points behind me in the polls, has given him exactly zero bounce. “It is a wounded bird that falls violently from the sky.”
“I wonder what position they promised Kim to support someone who is so far down in the polls,” he continued. “I got Iowa, first in the nation, ethanol security and $28 billion for our great farmers in Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin, and many other agricultural areas of our country. 28 billion dollars for farmers. I also protected Social Security and Medicare; DeSanctimonious and Nikki Haley did absolutely nothing. Make America Great Again.”
