The right time to heal fractured relationships

There’s a pink moon rising in the sign of good lighting and crippling codependence, folks.

The full pink moon in Libra will peak on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 8:22 p.m. EST.

Author and tarot reader Kerry Ward tells The Post that this lunation is a summons to rebalance and repair tense or fractured relationships.

Full moon in Libra 2025

“Libra is the zodiac’s relationship counselor. Libra ‘gets’ it emotionally and intellectually and can connect on both wavelengths, marrying hearts and minds. This full moon is your golden opportunity to strengthen your bonds; romantic, familial and friend alike.”

Ward notes that even if it is difficult to see change or improvement, there is momentum in the attempt and satisfaction of knowing you tried your best, shot your shot and led with love.

If you’re interested in getting a wee bit witchy under the ever-loving light of this full moon — and quite frankly, why the heck not? — astrologist and psychic Ward has a recommended ritual for reconciliation.

“To help clear the air and sweep away any lingering bad vibes in the home, make a simple floor wash and wipe down your floors. Mash up some mint leaves and mix with water and a splash of vinegar.”

Ward recommends adding a few drops of essential oil to the bucket or cauldron. Rosemary and sage cleanse and purify, while lavender promotes soothing and healing.

“Focus on the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom floors and, as you wipe them down, imagine the arguments and harsh moments of the recent past being diminished, faded, and gradually wiped away from the home,” explained Ward. “After you’ve finished, you can light a white candle and open the windows to amplify the cleansing work and get your environment back to ‘neutral’ so you can have constructive dialogue and healthier interactions.”

If you’re interested in repairing a relationship with someone who dwells outside of your home, Ward recommends charging a crystal and carrying it with you when you’re with said person.

Love crystals open up the personal energy field of the people they’re close to, aiding in attracting and retaining love in their life. Charge your crystal by holding it against your heart, closing your eyes, and visualizing this relationship back to its full flourishing potential and magic.”

Ward recommends the following crystals: amber for guarding against negativity, rose quartz for healing, jade for trust, carnelian for rekindling passion and amethyst for smoothing quarrels and assuaging jealousy.

Fire signs: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius

TEMPERANCE

For fire signs, Ward recommends avoiding inflammatory people and energies and focusing on deep breathing and grounding practices.

“Remove all outliers and extreme influences or opinions. When you’re both settled and in neutral territory, you will have much better conversations and be able to listen to each other without getting triggered and riled. Temperance is about balance and moderation, give and take.

“Compromise will be your route back to bliss.”

Earth signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

For earth babies, Ward says this full moon calls for clarity and decisiveness.

“Tell people where they stand, be direct about your true feelings and needs, and answer questions honestly. Doing so will give your closest relationships the ‘green light’ to deepen and progress. The time for any game-playing is over. This full moon asks you to commit to what is important and say how it really is.”

Air signs: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

In the realm of relationships, air signs are advised to lean into appreciation and pull away from petty judgments.

As Ward expounds, “Focus on the positive, the things you love and like and appreciate about the people in your life. Build on the successes you’ve both had, the best times and activities you’ve enjoyed, and the
highest vibrating chemistry and connection you share.”

She recommends that air signs write a letter of appreciation to their nearest and dearest this full moon.

“I promise it will return the dynamic to its best and brightest incarnation.”

Water signs: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

THE WORLD

For water signs, the full moon in Libra heralds the end of an era — and the turning over of a new page.

“The world is the major arcana’s final card and, therefore, one of completion. One phase of a relationship is over. Let it go, release, stop going over old ground or adhering to old habits,” Ward advises. “Face your shadows and work on them. A shadow work journal will guide you through facing, embracing and healing your demons, making you a better partner and friend.”
