Thank Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for the billions migrants are costing New York

Five billion dollars: That’s what the Biden-Harris open-border policy has cost New York taxpayers.

Yep: In just 25 months through July, Gotham shelled out more than $5 billion for migrant costs, including $2 billion just on housing, per the city’s own numbers.

And that stunner of a figure is budgeted to double by July.

New Yorkers, including Mayor Adams, boast about how they welcome newcomers.

But there’s a limit, no?

That jaw-dropping, three-year $10 billion sum is almost twice what the NYPD spends yearly.

Think of how many more cops, firefighters or teachers that could buy.

Oh, and those outlays don’t even count the massive losses to businesses for the crime of being located near unruly migrant shelters or hangouts, nor the lost tourism with one in five hotels converted to migrant housing.

Or the cost in migrant crime itself: In just the past two weeks, cops busted three different illegal migrants for rapes in the city.

Yes, New York’s crazy rules — shelter on demand, for starters — play a role.

But none of this happened before Biden and Harris came took over, after sending out what migrants call “La Invitacion” to storm the border.

And it’s not just NYC: The House Budget Committee estimates the cost to the nation through May at as much as $400 billion — with as many as 10 million border-jumpers arriving on the Biden-Harris watch.

The onslaught won’t end by the time Biden leaves office in January, nor after that if Harris wins in November.

As Biden himself notes, her policies are entirely in sync with his.

(In fact, she’s even more progressive, even if she’s dropped her “abolish ICE” talk.)

No, the only hope for New York, and America, is for Harris to be as far from border policy as possible.

Either she’s kept out of the White House, or New Yorkers watch even more billions go bye-bye.
