Teen robs NYC dog walker’s French bulldog at gunpoint on Christmas morning

A teenager was arrested after he pulled a gun on another teen walking his dog on Christmas morning in Queens and stole the kid’s French bulldog, according to police.

A 15-year-old boy was walking his dog outside of the Queensborough Houses in Long Island City around 9 a.m. when the thief, 16, confronted him, according to the Queens District Attorney’s Office.

The dog knapper pushed a gun into the boy’s chest and told him “You have five seconds to run,” prosecutors said.

The frightened victim dropped the leash and fled before calling the police.

About 15 minutes later, NYPD officers saw the 16-year-old with the dog not far from the scene of the robbery near 38-16 10th Street and witnessed the suspect toss a firearm over a fence, police said.

The dog was also retrieved and returned to its owner.

The Brooklyn native, who was not named due to his age, is facing numerous charges including criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, menacing, petty theft and criminal possession of stolen property.

He’s due back in court on Jan. 9, according to the DA’s office.
