Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp’s estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, made moves in court to move their divorce forward amid her ongoing cancer battle, In Touch can exclusively report.
On May 8, Edwin, 48, informed the court that he has exchanged preliminary financial information with Teddi, 43.
Per the filing, he has produced his current income and expense declarations, a list of his assets and debts and a list of what he believes is community property, along with a list of his separate property.
Teddi handed over her initial financial statements to Edwin in February.
As In Touch previously reported, Teddi filed for divorce from Edwin on November 1, 2024, after 13 years of marriage.

Teddi listed the date of separation as October 20, 2024. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The exes share four children together.
Teddi demanded primary legal and physical custody of the children and suggested Edwin be awarded visitation.
The reality star also asked the court to award her spousal support and block Edwin from asking for spousal support from her. The divorce came days after Teddi announced the split on social media.
“After a great deal of care and consideration. I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”
She ended, “Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward.”
Edwin responded to the divorce by admitting the marriage was over. He asked for their prenuptial agreement to be enforced. In his filing, he disputed the date of separation listed by Teddi.
He said the date was November 1, 2024. Regarding custody, Teddi asked that for joint legal and physical custody.

He also asked that “all assets, income from all sources, and obligations of each party are his/her separate property, except as specifically set forth therein.”
The doc noted, “The full nature and extent of [Edwin’s] separate property is not fully known to [Edwin] at this time. [Edwin] will amend this Response and/or file and/or serve appropriate further pleadings to set forth any additional information at a later time as more information becomes available to him.”
The divorce has continued on amid Teddi’s cancer battle.
Back in February, Teddi announced her doctors found multiple tumors on her brain. She had four large tumors removed but smaller ones were scheduled to be treated with radiation.
“I have 3 more tumors in my brain and 2 tumors on my lungs. These are all a direct result of my melanoma,” she said at the time.

She added, “The doctors are hopeful that these additional mutations will be removed via immunotherapy … I am feeling positive and excited — that I will beat these tumors.”
A couple of weeks later, Teddi announced the cancer was stage 4.
Teddi was diagnosed with melanoma in 2022, which has metastasized to her brain and lungs.
Teddi said her doctors believe the tumors have “significantly shrunk” and that the treatment will work for her. She said, “Hopefully I am done and I will be cancer-free,” after a couple more sessions for treatment.
Last month, Teddi told People she was “feeling pretty good.” She added, “I have amazing friends and a support system that’s there for me, and I think that’s huge.”
