Taco Bell is bringing back a fan-fave item — and adding it to the permanent menu

Más nugs, please.

When Taco Bell’s Crispy Chicken Nuggets first debuted in December as a limited-time offering, the menu item was an instant hit — and ever since, fans have been begging the fast-food chain to bring them back.

The fast-food chain is taking the hint: the beloved offering will return on April 24 as the first step in a plan to make them a permanent menu item by 2026.

When they first launched at the end of last year, nearly one in six orders included the nuggets, and there was a nationwide sellout in under a week, according to the company.

The prized nuggets — which some have deemed Michelin-star worthy — are made with all-white meat chicken, marinated in a zesty jalapeño buttermilk and breaded in a crunchy blend of tortilla chips and breadcrumbs.

Customers can get a five-piece offering with one dipping sauce or a 10-piece with two dippers. A combo including fries with nacho cheese sauce and a large drink is also available.

Sauces include Hidden Valley Fire Ranch, which is Taco Bell’s first-ever ranch partnership, as well as the Bell Sauce (creamy, tangy and tomato-forward) and Jalapeño Honey Mustard.

For now, the item’s return will only be for a limited time and while supplies last.

“The demand for our nuggets was off the charts, which is why we’re looking at making crispy chicken permanent to give our fans what they are telling us they want,” Taco Bell Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery said in a statement. “We know we’re not the usual name in crispy chicken, but our nuggets speak for themselves — they’re bold, different and unmistakably Taco Bell.”
