Sutton Stracke’s 2018 Divorce Deal: 6-Figure Monthly Support, More
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke scored a massive six-figure monthly support payment and Andy Warhol art in her 2018 divorce deal, In Touch has learned.
In Touch obtained the divorce settlement executed by Sutton, 53, and her ex-husband Christian Stracke on December 21, 2018. The exes wed on May 13, 2000, and split on May 31, 2016.
They share three children: Porter, born in 2002, Philip, born in 2003, and James, born in 2007. The couple agreed that “irreconcilable differences” were the reason for the split. Per the deal, the exes agreed to split their wine collection and art collections. They said they would flip a coin in order to determine which party shall have the first selection of artwork.
In addition, each party was awarded interest in several businesses, including a minor league baseball team. Christian and Sutton both walked away with several bank and retirement accounts.
He also kept an Audi along with his clothing, jewelry and personal items. Sutton was awarded a six-bedroom, eight-bathroom, 6,627-square foot mansion in Bel Air, California.
She also kept 2 properties in Georgia. The deal said Sutton would kept all furniture in the homes.
On top of that, she was to be given $1.2 million in cash, a Cadillac, 2015 Chevrolet Suburban, her jewelry collection and her Amex reward points. Christian also agreed to create a trust for the children.
The deal said he was to fund the trust with a $3 million lump-sum cash payment along with various business interests.
Regarding separate property, Christian kept a 2015 Vespa scooter, collectible artisanal crafts from West Africa, including leather works and dyed cotton fabric, an old Mexican indigenous wooden sculpture, three collectible ritual masks and his book collection.
In addition, he was awarded an apartment in Venice, Italy, the Wilshire Country Club membership and a 1991 Land Rover.
Sutton was awarded a personal checking account with $800,000, Andy Warhol print, “Flowers,” Andy Warhol prints of Martha Graham, and miscellaneous items of household personal property in store. Sutton agreed to pay any outstanding credit card debts owed to Visa, Amex, Delta or Barney’s.
The RHOBH star was awarded $300,000 per month in spousal support. The payments will end when one of them dies or Sutton remarries. Sutton and Christian agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their children. On top of her spousal support, Sutton was awarded an additional $50,000 per month in child support. Sutton has been a main cast member on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since season 11.
As In Touch first reported, Sutton’s costar Garcelle Beauvais reached a much more modest divorce settlement with her ex-husband, Mike Nilon. Garcelle, 57, and Mike wed in May 2001 and split in May 2010.
The actress was awarded a one-time lump sum of $250,000 in cash to settle all claims to spousal support.
Her ex did agree to pay $5,000 per month in child support for their twin sons. Garcelle and Mike agreed to share joint legal custody of their twins. They worked out a parenting plan that was flexible with their busy schedules.
Garcelle and Sutton will both be returning to RHOBH for season 14, which will air this fall.
