See Rosie O’Donnell’s Daughter in 1st Photos Since Drug Arrest
Rosie O’Donnell’s troubled daughter Chelsea O’Donnell was seen for the first time since she was released on bond after being arrested on charges of child neglect and drug possession.
In Touch obtained photos that Chelsea, 27, posted on social media after spending a month in a Wisconsin jail.
On November 13, Chelsea posted a photo with a baby boy. A couple of days later, on November 16, Rosie’s daughter posted a selfie showing herself smiling while wearing a blue shirt and orange beanie.
As In Touch first reported, Chelsea had been locked up with the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office after her arrest on October 11. Earlier this week, she posted $4,000 bond.
Chelsea was first arrested on September 10 in nearby Marinette County. Police drove out to Chelsea and her boyfriend Jacob Nelund’s home after Chelsea called cops.
When they arrived, officers said they observed Chelsea with dilated pupils. The police found a meth pipe with meth residue on her body.
They also found a container with what they believed to be meth and a clear plastic bag with white pills. Chelsea said the pills were Alprazolam, according to the police report.
The police said they found a marijuana pipe on Jacob.
The police report described a horrific scene inside the property. The officers said they went inside to find Chelsea and Jacob’s 11-month-old son, Atlas.
One officer wrote, “The inside of the home was disgusting; throughout the house I saw rotten food, dirty moldy dishes, milk that stunk so bad it almost made me puke, dirty diapers, used female hygiene products, unclean underwear with feces and blood stains and used razor blades on the floor.”
The police said they found the baby inside a room with drugs and garbage nearby. The report read, “Inside the bedroom belonging to Chelsea, where [the child] was initially found, there was a meth pipe, a gem bag with methamphetamine inside, a marijuana grinder, and another container with marijuana shake in it,” the report read. Chelsea was charged with four felony counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, possession of methamphetamine and possession of THC.
Chelsea posted bond and was released. A couple of weeks later, on October 11, Chelsea was arrested for a second time. Chelsea was pulled over while driving around town.
The police said Chelsea tried to throw a meth pipe into a river, but it hit a fence and bounced back while they were questioning her. The police report claimed Chelsea had meth and pills on her again.
She was arrested and charged with three felonies of possession of meth, bail jumping, possession of narcotics along with other misdemeanor charges.
Rosie, 62, spoke out about the sad situation. “Sadly, this is not new for our family – Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade – we are all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease,” the O’Donnell family said in a statement to In Touch. Rosie and her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter adopted Chelsea as a baby.
Chelsea has four children. Chelsea and her ex, Jacob Bourassa, share three children: Skylar Rose, Riley and Avery Lynn. Chelsea then had Atlas in October 2023 with her current boyfriend, Jacob Nelund.
As In Touch first reported, Jacob Bourassa rushed to court after Chelsea’s first arrest and demanded she not be allowed unsupervised visits. The exes reached a deal last week to allow Chelsea visits with her three children at least once a week with Jacob’s mom present.
