SDSU gets call threatening to carry out attack on campus
BROOKINGS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – On Tuesday, South Dakota State University received an anonymous phone call threatening to carry out an attack on campus.
The call came in at 10:31 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the alert sent by the university. The caller threatened to make an attack and additional phone calls were received making ‘nonspecific threats.’
No threats were made to any specific part of campus and the campus will remain open.
Campus officials urged students and faculty to take precautions and stay aware of their surroundings. They urged anyone who might see something to contact campus police at 605-688-5117.
