EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Rock Valley, Iowa, native Andrew Van Ginkel tallied an interception and returned it 10 yards for a touchdown as part of the Minnesota Vikings’ 28-6 win over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium Sunday afternoon.
Van Ginkel picked off Daniel Jones’ pass in the third quarter and brought it to the house for Minnesota’s final TD of its season-opening victory.
It was his third career interception and first with the Vikings. The touchdown marked his fourth as a pro.
