RHOC’s Jennifer Pedranti’s Fiance Ryan Dragged into Divorce Fight
Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti’s fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, was the center of the reality star’s court fight with her ex-husband William Pedranti, In Touch can exclusively report.
Jennifer, 47, filed an emotional declaration, obtained by In Touch, in response to William’s plea to terminate her monthly spousal support and reduce his child support obligations.
Jennifer and William were married from 2002 to 2022. As In Touch first reported, the exes hashed out a settlement in June over child support and custody of their four children.
William agreed to pay $4,674 a month in child support and another $1,735 a month in spousal support. The deal said the exes would share joint legal and physical custody of their kids: Dawson, Greyson, Everleigh, and Dominic.
The agreement also said the kids would live with Jennifer.
On top of that, William was to pay Jennifer a one-time payment of $267,000 to equalize the division of the community assets. In his motion, William claimed Dawson had moved in with him in March. He argued the child support payment should be reduced by $500.
Regarding spousal support, he said the court was not aware that Jennifer was living with Ryan when the order was entered.
“Jennifer still lives with Ryan, and I believe has little to no living expenses (rent, utilities, car payment etc.) due to this living arrangement,” William wrote. “She moved in with Ryan because she did not pay rent on her lease [at a home in Ladera Ranch, California].”
William added. “I am not a party to the lease agreement. Jennifer signed the lease agreement without first notifying me. If she had notified me beforehand, I would have not agreed to the terms of the lease (particularly the amount). We agreed to an uneven split of the amount of the rent since the children would be living there.’
He continued, “Jennifer was not able to contribute anything toward the rent, and therefore, the rent was not able to be paid in full.”
William argued for spousal support to be over due to a “significant decrease” in his monthly income and Jennifer’s currently living arrangement.
In his filing, William also accused Jennifer of harassment and showing up at his home uninvited. He submitted several texts and emails he said Jennifer sent him to back up his claims.
In her declaration, Jennifer opposed William’s request to reduce his monthly support.
“I believe it is unfair to terminate spousal support because I am cohabitating with Ryan. The ONLY reason I am cohabitating with Ryan is because William left me with no other option,” Jennifer told the court.
The RHOC star said William never paid the $267,000 owed in the divorce settlement.
She added, “Had I received my half portion of the proceeds when William received it (which he should have done), I would have had the ability to pay my lease, and I would not have been evicted. Or, I would have had the means to secure my own place without Ryan. It would not be equitable for the court to consider my cohabitation with Ryan as a basis to end my support when William’s bad conduct forced me to do so.”
Jennifer continued, “Furthermore, William was also aware at the time we entered the judgment that I was cohabitating with Ryan. Therefore, it is not a change of circumstance warranting consideration to terminate spousal support.”
The reality star also questioned the numbers William submitted in court in regard to his income. “It should be noted William can apparently pay $2,300 per month for his car, but not pay court ordered support,” she said. In her response, Jennifer also denied harassing William.
“William’s claim that I make mean or disparaging comments about him is false. William will not communicate with me at all about our children, and simply ignores me,” she said.
She added, “the court will note none of my messages are harassing, mean, or disparaging. Please also note William has not responded to one of my several messages. If William would communicate with me, I would not need to go to his house or try to communicate with him live.”
A judge has yet to rule.
