RHOC’s Jennifer Pedranti’s Ex Ordered to Court in Divorce War
Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti’s ex-husband, William Pedranti, was ordered to show up to court with his financial records as they fight over support, In Touch can exclusively report.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, an Orange County judge granted Jennifer’s request that William, 52, show up with information to help her collect on money he owes her.
The court initially set the hearing for October 21, but the parties agreed to push it until November 5.
The judge warned William, “If you fail to appear at the time and place specified in this order, you may be subject to arrest and punishment for contempt of court, and the court may make an order requiring you to pay the reasonable attorney fees incurred by the judgment creditor in this proceeding.”
As In Touch first reported, Jennifer, 47, and William settled their bitter divorce in June.
The exes were married from 2002 until 2021. William filed for divorce weeks before Jennifer’s first appearance on Real Housewives of Orange County.
Per their settlement, the duo agreed to share legal and physical custody of their four minor children: Dawson, Greyson, Everleigh, and Dominic.
The order said the children would live with Jennifer. Per the deal, Jennifer was awarded child and spousal support.
In addition, William agreed to pay her a one-time lump sum of $267,000 to equalize the division of their community property. Last month, William asked the court to terminate Jennifer’s $1,735 per month in spousal support and reduce the $4,674 per month he pays her in child support. He argued that their son Dawson had moved in with him and he had been paying all of his expenses. William believes his child support should be lowered by $587.
He also claimed that the court was unaware that Jennifer had moved in with her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, when the spousal support was awarded.
William said he did not believe Jennifer was paying expenses at Ryan’s home. William also claimed that his income had dropped drastically due to his “employer needing to conserve capital resources.”
In his filing, he also accused Jennifer of harassment. He said she showed up to his house uninvited. William argued, “This is harassment and an invasion of my privacy.
He also said Jennifer often texts him outside the application the court ordered them to speak on.
In his motion, William claimed Jennifer violated a provision in their divorce prohibiting them from trash talking the other publicly.
He claimed Jennifer “made multiple disparaging comment and lies about me on the Bravo TV show as well as in national media interviews. Including negative comments about my relationship with my kids. My reputation has been adversely affected by this. I have also had to have conversations with the children about it as well.”
In response, Jennifer asked the court to deny William’s request to lower his monthly support obligations.
She said, “While [William] currently covers healthcare expenses, additional support is needed to meet the financial requirements for the children’s activities, as well as their food and clothing expenses.”
Jennifer claimed that William failed to pay her the $267,000 lump sum he agreed to in the divorce agreement. “Had I received my half portion of the proceeds when William received it (which he should have done) … I would have had the means to secure my own place without Ryan. It would not be equitable for the court to consider my cohabitation with Ryan as a basis to end my support when William’s bad conduct forced me to do so,” Jennifer said.
Her lawyer claimed, “As a result, [Jennifer] has very little in assets other than bank accounts and a vehicle.” On top of that, she claimed William was $22,000 behind in support payments.
She argued, “I believe it is unfair to terminate spousal support because I am cohabitating with Ryan. The ONLY reason I am cohabitating with Ryan is because William left me with no other option.”
In regard to William’s claims of harassment, she said she was only trying to talk to him about their kids. She said, “Please also note William has not responded to one of my several messages. If William would communicate with me, I would not need to go to his house or try to communicate with him live.”
A judge has yet to rule on William’s motion over support.
As In Touch first reported, Jennifer’s RHOC salary was exposed as part of the court battle.
