RHOBH’s Eden Sassoon Denies Her Dog Savagely Attacked Woman
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Eden Sassoon fired back at a woman who claimed she was viciously attacked by her dog, In Touch can exclusively report.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Eden, 51, denied all allegations of wrongdoing in the case brought by a woman named Olga Mill.
Last year, Olga sued Eden, and a man named Ed Munoz for negligence and various other claims. Olga claimed she was walking her dog, Gus, out in public on August 11, 2023. She said Eden’s dog, an Australian Shepherd named Winston, was being walked by Ed. She said Winston “viciously and savagely” attacked her and Gus “without provocation.”
The suit said, “Defendants owned, kept, maintained and otherwise cared for Winston, a dog that had known violent and viscous tendencies having previously attacked people in the past.”
Her lawyer said Olga was seriously injured “sustaining severe and permanent injuries to her body and shock and injury to her person.”
The suit added that Olga continues to suffer great mental and physical pain and suffering. Olga said she sustained vicious dog bites, lacerations and bruises that resulted in a severe infection that required an overnight hospitalization for treatment of her injuries.
Her lawyer added, “Olga sustained vicious dog bites, lacerations and bruises to her right forearm and volar aspect of her right forearm.”
“Gus was also injured and required hospitalization and treatment at his” vet, the suit claimed. Olga said, “all of the injuries have resulted and will result in some permanent disability, and permanent scarring and disfigurement of Olga, all to her detriment and damage.”
Olga sued seeking unspecified damages from Eden and Ed. She claimed that they allowed the dog out despite knowing he had attacked people in the past.
In response, Eden’s lawyer argued Olga caused any alleged damages due to her own actions. The attorney said, “[Olga] was negligent and careless in and about the matters referred to in the Complaint on file herein and that said negligence and carelessness contributed to, and proximately caused, that damage and/or injuries alleged, if any.”
Further, Eden said her dog did not actually bite Olga or cause any actual injury. Eden demanded the entire lawsuit be thrown out. At the moment, the parties are currently battling it out over discovery in the case.
Olga said that Eden had admitted previously that her dog had attacked another person.
However, when asked for details, Olga said Eden failed to turn over any information. Olga said that Eden has also failed to turn over requested information about her insurance policy and the policy limit. A hearing on the matter has been set for December 19. The trial has been set for May.
Eden appeared on season 7 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. After she departed the show, Eden told her followers, “I truly am #grateful for the experience & huge life lessons I was up against.”
She said her exit was the “best news EVER!” and that the show was “just a moment in my journey.”
