Read Joshua Jackson’s Alleged Private Messages to Ex Being Used in Court

Joshua Jackson’s ex-wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, submitted a series of his private messages as evidence in their ugly divorce battle, In Touch can exclusively report.
In Touch obtained the messages being used by Jodie, 38, as the exes fight over their daughter Juno’s schooling. Jodie filed for divorce from Joshua, 46, in October 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
She initially asked that both parties be cut off from spousal support. However, earlier this year, Jodie filed documents accusing Joshua of not paying a dime in support since their split.
She asked the court to force Joshua to pay temporary monthly support.
Jodie argued Joshua pulled in around $195,000 per month, compared to her $87,500 a month income.
Another big issue in the divorce was a L.A. home that Jodie said she helped with the down payment. She claimed Joshua was attempting to claim the property as his separate property.
“Josh promised to always support me and ensured me that I would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother,” Jodie wrote in a declaration.

Joshua did not respond to Jodie’s claims in court.
Then on May 2, Jodie filed her new motion, obtained by In Touch, which revealed the exes hashed out a temporary divorce deal over custody in 2024 but are still fighting over certain issues, including their daughter’s schooling.
Jodie explained that they reached a temporary parenting plan, including custody, but it does not appear they have agreed on support.
Per their agreement, Jodie said she was authorized to make the final decision on Juno’s school enrollment for 2025-2026. Jodie said she found a school in California that she felt was best for their daughter.
She said Joshua wanted Juno to go to another school for kindergarten but was open to changing after that.
Jodie said, “I consistently prioritize Juno’s best interests and value Josh’s input as her father. Since March 2025, I have responded to Josh’s questions on this issue and remained available to meet and confer regarding the school selection for Juno, to resolve this issue amicably with Josh.”
She added, “However, despite my outreach and good faith efforts, Josh ultimately opposed Juno’s enrollment at [the school]. Separately, through counsel I have made repeated efforts to coordinate a summer and fall custodial schedule with Josh to accommodate both of our work schedules while prioritizing consistency and frequent contact with both parents for Juno.”

Jodie said she sent over a proposed schedule in April.
The actress said Joshua has been living in Calabasas since his other home burned down in the Los Angeles fires.
Jodie said the new home is closer to the school she wants Juno to go to.
She asked the court to order Juno can go to the school she picked.
As part of her motion, Jodie submitted alleged messages she exchanged with Joshua regarding the school options.
One alleged message, sent on March 25, from Joshua to Jodie read, “Hi Jodie, I looked over the packet you put in Juno’s pack. I think we should probably sit down and discus this ASAP. I’d love to understand your thinking here, hear what the issues are with [the school] and discuss what your goals/hopes are with a new school. What’s your availability this week?”

Joshua ended, “I know the window for submission at other schools is closing so I feel we should do this soon.”
The alleged messages show the exes going back and forth on the topic, which led to their lawyers getting involved.
She claimed the messages back up her position that Joshua was initially open to her picking the school. Joshua has yet to respond to the allegations in court.
Jodie also attached an alleged letter from Joshua’s attorney, where the actor challenges Jodie’s authority to pick the school for Juno. The judge has yet to rule.
