Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, stopping balloons and floats from rolling down Sixth Avenue.
Protesters stuck their hands to the ground just before 11 a.m. in the middle of the parade route, prompting NYPD officers to divert the balloons and the rest of the parade, which ends at Macy’s flagship store. in Herald Square.
Protesters were also seen carrying a banner that read: “Then genocide. Genocide now.”
