Prada takes over red carpets — Dua Lipa, Hunter Schafer

Everyone wears Prada, from Dua Lipa to “The Devil.”

Now one of the most respected fashion houses in the world, Prada got its start in 1913, when founder Mario Prada opened a store selling luxury bags, trunks, and travel accessories.

Since joining the family business in 1975, his granddaughter Miuccia Prada has catapulted the brand into global stardom.

The latest “Pradasphere” retrospective in 2023 (following a similar celebration in 2014), celebrated the label’s influence across art and culture. In addition to prioritizing sustainability and landing A-list ambassadors like Emma Watson and Maya Hawke, the brand has been dominating celebrity looks at fashion weeks and red carpets worldwide this year.

Celebrating Prada’s fall 2024 collection at Milan fashion week in February, “Iron Claw” star Lily James is flirty in fringe.

Pairing strappy pumps with an oversized jacket, James embraces Prada’s playful spirit toward feminine and masculine expression in fashion.

Meanwhile, “Training Season” pop icon Dua Lipa is a Prada goddess in a custom red creation that matches her new ’do. Attending the Critics Choice Awards in the gorgeous gown, Lipa was practically “Levitating.”

At the Milan menswear show, South Korean K-pop sensation Yu Ji-Min (professionally known as Karina) dons a dreamy dress from the spring 2024 collection.

The pattern, worn recently by Meryl Streep as well as Lynch, makes a sophisticated statement on both stars. Last but certainly not least, “Euphoria” actress and brand ambassador Hunter Schafer makes it look easy-breezy to create one of the year’s biggest fashion moments in the flowiest, most fabulous gown.
