Porsha Williams Denies Defaming Ex With Erectile Dysfunction Posts

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams fired back at her ex Simon Guobadia’s claims she defamed him with a series of posts about erectile dysfunction, In Touch can exclusively report.

Porsha, 43, told the court none of her Instagram posts mentioned Simon, 60, by name.

In a motion, obtained by In Touch, Porsha’s lawyer wrote, “This case is centered around social media posts posted by [Porsha], that discuss the topic of erectile dysfunction. Although [Simon] alludes to multiple media outlets that sought to connect the posts to [Simon], [Porsha] cannot be held liable for wild speculation by these platforms coupled with the complete absence of factual or legal basis that could plausibly support any of [Simon’s] claims.”

As In Touch first reported, Simon sued Porsha in November 2024 for defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The couple wed in 2022 and split in early 2024.

The divorce has yet to be settled. In his federal lawsuit against Porsha, Simon’s lawyer said, “[Porsha’s social media posts], presented as factual, have caused significant harm to [Simon’s] personal and professional reputation, subjected him to public ridicule, and inflicted severe emotional distress.”

“[Simon’s] relationship with [Porsha] became contentious when [Porsha] suddenly started making negative, false and misleading statements about him on social media, using her outsized platform to negatively influence public perception of him,” his lawyer continued.

Simon took issue with a series of posts that Porsha made on July 9, 2024, regarding erectile dysfunction. “These posts were intentionally crafted to imply that [Simon] suffers from this condition, casting him in a negative and humiliating light,” his lawsuit read.

“The nature, timing and context of these posts, amidst the couple’s public separation, led reasonable viewers to infer that [Porsha’s] statements were referring to [Simon] – because they were,” his lawyer continued.

The suit read, “[Porsha’s] statements were false; [Simon] does not have ED and has never suffered from or been diagnosed with this condition.”

In her recent motion to dismiss, Porsha’s lawsuit argued, “None of [Porsha’s] posts refer to any particular individual, let alone [Simon] specifically. [Porsha] cannot and should not be held liable for sharing information regarding a common condition that likely plagues many of [Porsha’s] social media followers. For this reason, and the reasons detailed herein, this Court should dismiss [Simon’s] Complaint in its entirety.”

Further, Porsha’s attorney said,“These posts simply provide information regarding a common condition, and Defendant even uses the hashtag “Mens Health Awareness” to draw awareness to the information that may help some of Defendant’s social media followers. Moreover, according to the Complaint, Defendant posted these messages on or about July 9, 2024 – several months after “news broke” of the parties’ divorce but only a few days after National Men’s Health Month.”

“[Porsha] respectfully submits that the subject social media posts are not ambiguous, and this Court can determine whether they are defamatory as a matter of law,” his lawyer added.

Porsha said her ex has not and could not prove any injury to his business due to her posts with general information about erectile dysfunction. Porsha asked for Simon’s entire suit to be thrown out of court. A judge has yet to rule.
