Pizza-obsessed vandal busted after New Rochelle graffiti spree

Cops took a bite out of this crime.

A saucy vandal who “plagued” a Westchester town with chronic graffiti of pepperoni slices for more than a year has finally been arrested.

Daniel Henderson, 42, of Yonkers, was busted Dec. 27 for allegedly tagging at least 13 spots around New Rochelle in connection to the “One Slice Please” graffiti trend, police said in a press release.

Henderson’s alleged vandalism spree “plagued the city and surrounding areas,” the New Rochelle Police Department said.

The millennial allegedly tagged the outside of pizzerias and other sites with a depiction of a pepperoni slice, topped with green lines that are presumably meant to represent oregano and gooey cheese hanging off the edge.

The graffiti vandal was charged with three counts of making graffiti. newrochelleny

An Instagram profile with the username “OneSlicePlease” posted over a dozen photos of the trademark slice spraypainted on various pie shops.

A screengrab of a news report covering the unsavory exploits was also posted on the social media account.

“One Slice Please” also has a website, where those who prefer to eat with their eyes — and have some extra dough — can purchase a $3,000 framed painting of the branded depiction of pizza the accused allegedly obsessively creates.

New Rochelle police called the arrest a culmination of a year-long investigation that was of interest in part because of the traction the “movement” gained on social media, local media outlets, and influencers in Westchester County, the release states.

Henderson is charged with three counts of making graffiti and additional charges are pending, cops said.
