NYPD searching for pack of NYC teen girls who randomly attack 76-year-old man on Brooklyn subway platform

A pack of young teenage girls randomly attacked an elderly man on a Brooklyn subway platform early Monday — with at least one assailant whacking the victim with a scooter, cops and police sources said.

The 76-year-old man was lying on a bench at the Rockaway Avenue subway station when the five suspects launched the assault, punching and kicking his head around 2:10 a.m., according to authorities.

One of the perpetrators even swung her scooter at the man’s head in what sources said was an unprovoked attack on northbound C line platform.

A group of young teenage girls are being sought after by police after they allegedly attacked an elderly man on a Brooklyn subway platform early Monday.

The offenders are believed to be between the ages of 16 and 20, police said.

While there were six young women in the group, police said five of them participated in the assault. They all fled on foot from the station in the aftermath.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the five suspects, including one dressed in all black who is riding a scooter on the train platform.

Authorities are offering a reward of up to $3,500 in hopes of catching the violent group.
