NYC teen killed by adult man in Queens murder-suicide: NYPD

A teenager was shot and killed in Queens on Saturday by a man who then turned the gun on himself, according to the NYPD

An unidentified 17-year-old boy was shot in the chest by a 28-year-old man on Oceania St. and 48th Avenue in Bayside, Queens, just after 10 p.m. Saturday, according to cops.

The 28-year-old was found at the scene with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, cops said.

Both individuals were taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital where they were each pronounced dead.

Photos show police officers cordoning off the crime scene with blue tape on the tree-lined residential street.

The NYPD said an investigation is ongoing.
