Microsoft’s 365 service was down after users reported outages
Microsoft said that its 365 subscription service was experiencing technical difficulties after users reported outages early on Thursday morning.
“We’re investigating an issue where users may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services,” the company wrote on its X account on Thursday morning.

The web site Downdetector, which monitors outages, reported that more than 22,800 users of Microsoft 365 have indicated they have had trouble accessing the service in the past 24 hours.
As of 10:30 a.m. Eastern time, the number of reported outages declined to fewer than 2,000.
Microsoft issued an update on social media indicating that “a change within a third-party ISP’s (internet service provider) managed-environment resulted in impact.”
The company added that the IPS has “reverted the change and we’re now seeing signs of recovery.”
