Man, 91, and woman, 66, found dead with their necks slashed inside Brooklyn home

Two people were found dead with their necks slashed in a grisly scene inside a Brooklyn home Sunday afternoon.

The victims, 91-year-old Roosevelt Simmons and 66-year-old Jacqueline Delyons, were discovered brutally killed inside a two-story home at 186 Warwick St. in Cypress Hills at around 4:30 p.m. by officers responding to a 911 call, police said.

The bodies of both victims were on the kitchen floor and each had slash wounds to their necks, according to the NYPD.

Both victims, who lived in the home, were pronounced dead at the scene, cops said.

A male person of interest was taken into custody at the scene, police said.

The investigation is still ongoing. The relationship between the victims and the person of interest is not known at this time.

It’s unclear who made the 911 call — including if the person of interest was the one who called.
