Who knew shopping at Costco could be so … dirty?
A Reddit user who goes by @Tommyjv online uploaded an image deemed NSFW on Aug. 19, asking viewers how Costco expects customers to be fine with what they’re seeing.
The photo shows a dark beverage in a paper cup with a clear lid.
However, what was visually alarming was the lid’s peel-back feature for drinking: it was shaped like a penis.
“Costco just expects me to drink from the balls of my lid?” the Redditor quipped in the caption.
Many readers found the drink slot hilarious, causing an onslaught of naughty thoughts in the comments.
“Hate to say it … but looks like you got shafted,” wrote a saucy observer.
“I usually push it inward and up against itself. But if you prefer balls. That’s all you,” joked one person.
“The instructions do say to push in … not pull out. Hehe,” laughed another.

While people teased the person who posted the image, some users revealed they preferred the lid’s strange opening.
“First time I used this I thought it was goofy. After figuring it out and using I was happy to ditch the cardboard straws!” wrote one customer.

“The balls are supposed to stay in there while you drink. You’re not supposed to tear it like you did so they rub your nose!” confessed another.
