In her marital dissolution agreement with ex-husband Ben Foster, which was obtained by In Touch on April 14, 2025, it was revealed that the actress earns a monthly gross income of $22,205.50. Meanwhile, Ben earns a monthly income of $70,509.92, according to the paperwork.
How Does Laura Prepon Make Money?
Laura studied drama at Total Theatre Lab in New York City when she was a teen and began her career by appearing in local plays, including A Woman of Property and Ascension Day. She later made her small screen debut on the NBC soap opera web series They Go On in 1997. At the time, she had also been doing modeling work in Paris, Milan and Brazil.
The New Jersey native’s big break came in 1998 when she began starring as Donna Pinciotti in Fox’s sitcom That ’70s Show, which aired until 2006. Laura Prepon Settles Divorce With Ex-Husband Ben Foster
Ben filed for divorce from Laura after six years of marriage in September 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The former couple signed a prenup before walking down the aisle and agreed to adhere to the terms of the agreement in their April 2025 settlement, according to the court docs obtained by In Touch.
Laura and Ben agreed that the Slackers star would be the primary residential parent of their two children — daughter Ella, who was born in 2017, and their son, born in 2020, whose name they have kept private. The kids will reside with Laura for 227 days and with their father for the remaining 138 days of the year, with the exes sharing custody throughout the week. They will also share joint legal custody.
Laura and Ben agreed to be flexible with parenting time due to their “work obligations requiring out-of-state travel.” They also agreed that the children would attend private school, with the former spouses splitting the costs of tuition and school-related expenses.
Ben will pay Laura $5,500 per month in child support.
The exes also agreed to sell their Tennessee home, with Laura to be paid $977,987 from the net proceeds and the rest to be split 50/50, and agreed to be responsible for their own debts and keep their own stocks, cryptocurrencies and businesses.
