Kyle Richards’ Ex’s Family Reveal Bombshell Videos in Court Battle

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards’ estranged husband Mauricio Umansky’s fired back at claims his 81-year-old father abused his longtime girlfriend, In Touch can exclusively report.

Mauricio’s sister, Sharon Umansky Benton, fired back at her dad Eduardo Umansky’s ex-girlfriend Simin Tabibnia’s recent claims that Eduardo had been physical with her during their 18-year relationship.

As In Touch first reported, Mauricio, 54, and Sharon placed Eduardo under a conservatorship last year. The duo claimed they feared Eduardo was being taken advantage of by his girlfriend.

They claimed Simin had isolated Eduardo and kept him from his family and friends. Sharon also accused Simin of being physical with her. Meanwhile, Simin accused Sharon of being the one who got physical.

The court ended up granting a permanent restraining order for Sharon against Simin, which requires Simin to stay 100 yards away at all times.

Eduardo also filed a petition for a “elder abuse” restraining order against Simin in October 2024.

The petition was filed by Sharon in her role as coconservator of Eduardo. Sharon accused Simin of being an “abusive” girlfriend to Eduardo.

She said, “Around 10 years ago were the first signs of threats and abuse but it was difficult to understand exactly what was happening. Around August or September 2022 was when things began to escalate.”

Sharon told the court, “We have known about some of the abuse including verbal threats, sexual manipulation, physical violence and filed a police report but my father is a battered boyfriend and has early signs of dementia and refused to press charges for fear of the threats that Simin has posed on him for many years.”

Simin denied the accusations and filed her own restraining order against Eduardo. She said she had been by Eduardo’s side for nearly two decades.

“During that time, I endured ongoing physical, verbal and emotional abuse. I now fear for my safety due to [Eduardo’s] actions,” Simin said.

Simin claimed Eduardo had “physically abused me on multiple occasions resulting in injuries.”

According to her petition, she claimed Eduardo had punched her in the face, punched her in the arms, struck her in the legs and shoved her to the ground and choked her.

She attached photos of her alleged injuries. Now, in a newly filed response, Eduardo, via Sharon, denied all of Simin’s allegations of abuse. She said at dinner in 2022, she noticed her blood leaking through her father’s shirt and wounds on his arm.

Sharon said, “He told me that Simin often dug her nails into his skin, yelled at him, and demanded money. My father and I discussed the situation and we decided to place a camera in the living room of his home that would allow me to monitor his whereabouts and overall condition. I am able to access the camera from my phone and speak to my father through the audio feature, which is particularly useful when he cannot find his phone.”

She said, “I reviewed and downloaded many videos recorded from the camera and they include multiple instances of physical abuse against my father by Ms. Tabibnia, her demands for money, her demands that he call his lawyer to change his will because she did not believe it was generous enough to her. Ms. Tabibnia made multiple threats to tell others of my father’s conduct if he did not behave in ways that she found acceptable.”

Sharon said Simin claimed Eduardo would get violent after drinking or speaking to her on the phone.

She said, “I observed on the videos that it was, in fact, Ms. Tabibnia who became violent after my father spoke to me on the telephone. Ms. Tabibnia would get enraged by my involvement in my father’s life, routinely told him that I am not his biological daughter, referring to my mother as a whore repeatedly. Given my father’s mental diminishment and poor memory, I view this as an effort to alienate him from me.”

Sharon said Simin pressured her father to write her checks totaling $156,000 from January 2024 to October 2024, while “simultaneously claiming he was physically abusing her.”

Sharon added, “Ms. Tabibnia’s Request For Restraining Order admits that she never called the police regarding alleged abuse. Ms. Tabibnia never stopped going to my father’s house until the temporary restraining order went into effect. She filed this Request only once the financial windfall came to a halt, which suggests that this is retaliatory.”

Simin previously denied claims she isolated Eduardo or took advantage of him.
