Kanye West and Bianca Censori ‘Bonding’ Over Video Games
Kanye West is obsessed with gaming, and he’s gotten wife Bianca Censori in on the act. A source exclusively tells In Touch that it’s by far the rapper’s favorite way of enjoying downtime and way more exciting to him than anything romantic.
“Ye’s pretty much a video game addict, but he’s totally fine with that,” the insider said. “He’s a huge fan of Nintendo, especially the Switch, but he’s also all about VR gaming, which takes things to a whole new world for him. He can sit for hours, completely immersed, aiming for high scores, exploring virtual worlds, and losing track of time.”
The source adds that the “Gold Digger” hitmaker, 47, “always brings his consoles and VR headset along” when traveling.
“For Ye, gaming is more than a pastime; it’s his idea of a perfect break,” the insider continues, noting that “anyone living with Ye has to be up for it.” Thankfully, Bianca, 29, has just as much fun with it.
“Bianca totally gets it. She’s right there with him, joining in whenever she can, and the kids are into it too,” the source says, referring to Ye’s four kids with ex-wife Kim Kardashian — North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.
On the other hand, Kim, 44, was never able to get behind the hobby.
“Kim tried to be supportive back when they were together, but she really couldn’t stand it and would always make comments about what a waste of time it was,” the insider concludes. “With Bianca, though, Ye finally has a partner who enjoys his gaming world just as much. It’s become a bonding thing for them, and Ye couldn’t be happier.”
Ye married Bianca in December 2022, one month after finalizing his divorce from Kim. Split rumors swirled in early October when the rapper was spotted on multiple outings without his wife, and TMZ reported on October 7 that they had allegedly split “weeks” before. Sources told the outlet that Bianca planned to return to Australia, while Ye reportedly told people close to him that he planned on living in Tokyo and divorcing Bianca.
However, the couple seemingly squashed the rumors the following day while out at a mall in Tokyo together. TMZ shared a video of Bianca and Ye snuggling up together on an escalator. Neither the Yeezy founder nor the model have publicly addressed the split rumors.
A source exclusively told In Touch on Friday, December 6, that Bianca has “been pushing for a more stable and settled life” with her husband.
“The moving around and the constant changing of plans is driving her up the wall and she finally put her foot down and demanded they get a home base,” the insider said. “L.A. is where she wants to be. She loves it there and has a huge network of friends there, being halfway around the world was very lonely for her.”
The source added that it “would be a different story” if Ye wanted to relocate to Australia “because her family and friends are there.” However, “dragging her to Japan left her very lonely,” the insider explained.
“The worst part is he kept telling her it would just be another week. Anytime she complained he’d promise they were leaving and then go back on it,” the source continued. “She complained to friends [that] she felt as though she was being held hostage so that tells you a lot about where her head is at.”
Meanwhile, the insider said that Ye has “finally realized he pushed [Bianca] too far and he’s scrambling to fix things.”
