Kamala Torched Over Latest Word Salad About Doritos

Former Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris got torched on social media for the bizarre word salad she gave about her love of Doritos while attempting to talk about innovation at an artificial intelligence conference.

In a video that surfaced on X, the former vice president talked about skipping the Oscars and staying home. However, she noted that she was in a predicament because the red carpet was about to start and she wanted Doritos, so she decided to use DoorDash, Page Six reported.

So I was willing to give up whatever might be the tracking of Kamala Harris’ particular fondness for nacho cheese Doritos for the sake of getting a big bag of Doritos as I watched the Oscars,” Harris told the group.

The interviewer, Nuno Sebastiao, CEO of data science company Feedzai, tried to help Harris out by suggesting she was making an reference to “consumer behavior,” but she continued to ramble.

“But here’s the thing: At what point do we also uplift and highlight the consumer’s right to also expect — and you can debate with me if it should be a right — I think it should,” Harris said, though it was unclear exactly what she was talking about, before she attempted to round back to “innovation.”

“To expect that the innovation would also be weighted in terms of solving their everyday problems, which are beyond my craving for Doritos, but about whatever — and I know the work is happening — around, you know, scientific discoveries, for example, to cure longstanding diseases,” she added. “But I’m going to throw out another one.”

The former VP then completely changed the subject and started talking about affordable housing.

“I would love it if there would be an investment of resources in solving the affordable housing issue in America,” Harris aid. “Like, help me with that. Help me with that.”

Social media users mocked Harris, with many pointing out just how close she was to getting the highest office in the land, the outlet noted.

“Kamala Harris tries to explain what scientific innovation looks like and it sounds like the dumbest thing imaginable,” one person wrote. “She’s three glasses of wine deep.”

Another person added, “Kamala is drunk again.”

“Imagine if we had to endure four years of Doritos anecdotes,” Daily Wire host Matt Walsh wrote on X.

Another person added, “Kamala Harris used DoorDash to get Doritos delivered so she could do that cringe photo-op.”

While a third person wrote, “We dodged a missile, not a bullet,” noting the 2024 election and her loss to President Donald Trump.
