Jennifer and Fotis Dulos ‘amicable’ with each other 2 days before she vanished

Slain Connecticut mother Jennifer Dulos and her estranged husband accused of killing her were “amicable” toward each other two days before she vanished, an ex-parenting supervisor testified Thursday.

The observation was made by the then-parenting supervisor who was at Jennifer’s home observing Fotis Dulos while he visited the splintered couple’s five children on May 22, 2019, according to reports.

Jennifer disappeared on May 24, 2019, and Fotis was later charged with her murder. While he died by suicide in 2020 before he stood trial, Michelle Troconis, his girlfriend at the time, is accused of helping him cover up the crime.

The supervisor, Sidnee Streater, said at Troconis’ trial Thursday that when Fotis arrived at Jennifer’s home, the Dulos’ five children quickly gave him hugs and kisses, the News-Times reported. They also noticed his new haircut by rubbing the shaved head.

Streater reportedly said Fotis brought chocolate Easter bunnies.

When Jennifer joked about eating chocolate every day, Fotis broke off a bunny’s ear and handed it to her, Streater testified, according to the Hartford Courant.

During the three-hour visit, Streater said, the father went to a recreation center with the kids and then came back to the house to eat dinner and dessert with them, but he never entered the house — indicating the gathering took place outside, the New Times reported.

Fotis allegedly attacked his estranged wife inside her home two days later, leaving DNA behind in the process, prosecutors have said.

During the visit, he and Jennifer were “amicable” toward each other, she said.

When Troconis’ lawyer, Jon Schoenhorn, asked Streater if she saw Fotis peering in windows, she replied no, the Courant reported.

“The entire interaction between Mr. Dulos and his wife was cordial as you’re concerned,” he asked. Streater agreed and agreed again when asked if the two spoke in a normal tone.

She was required to have ears and eyes on Fotis throughout the visit.

The testimony came on the 15th day of the Troconis trial in which the Venezuelan socialite is facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder, evidence tampering and hindering prosecution.

She pleaded not guilty and has claimed she does not know what happened to Jennifer or where her body might be.

While the victim’s body has never been recovered, she was declared dead at the end 2023.
