2024 Election

Hillary Clinton Has Just Three Words Of ‘Advice’ For Voters Disappointed In Trump-Biden Rematch

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton offered just three words of advice to voters who were disappointed by the idea of a 2024 rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump: “Get over yourself.”

Clinton, who lost to Trump in 2016, did not appear to have much sympathy for those who didn’t like either option, and she made that clear during a Monday evening appearance on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” with host Jimmy Fallon.

“It’s Biden vs Trump. All right, we know that,” Fallon said, asking Clinton, “What do you say to voters who are upset that those are the two choices?”

“Get over yourself,” Clinton shrugged. “Those are the two choices.”

“And, you know, it’s kind of like one is old and effective and compassionate, has a heart, and really cares about people,” Clinton continued. “And one is old and has been charged with 91 felonies.”

Fallon and the audience laughed, and Clinton kept going: “I don’t even understand why this is even a hard choice, really. I don’t understand it, but we have to go through the election. Hopefully people will realize what’s at stake, because it’s an existential question: What kind of country we’re going to have, what kind of democracy we’re going to have, and people who blow that off are not paying attention.”

Clinton made no mention of independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who warned during an interview over the weekend that President Biden was a greater threat to democracy than Trump.

“President Biden is the first candidate in history, the first president in history that has used the federal agencies to censor political speech, so to censor his opponent. I can say that because I just won a case in the federal Court of Appeals and now before the Supreme Court that shows that he started censoring not just me — 37 hours after he took the oath of office, he was censoring me,” Kennedy explained. “No president in the country has ever done that.”

“The greatest threat to democracy is not somebody who questions election returns, but a president of the United States who uses the power of his office to force the social media companies, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter to open a portal and give access to that portal to the FBI, to the CIA, to the IRS, to CISA, to NIH to censor his political critics,” he added.
