Harry and Meghan Grateful for Zara and Mike Tindall’s ‘Loyalty’ (EXCL)

Zara and Mike Tindall have stayed on good terms with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ever since the latter couple decided to quit their royal duties and a source exclusively tells In Touch the four of them are looking forward to more couples’ time in Montecito and Portugal — with Princess Eugenie and husband Jack in tow, too.
“Zara and Mike don’t shout about their relationship with Sussexes from the rooftops, because it is still frowned upon by a lot of people in the royal family, but it’s known that they, along with Eugenie and Jack, have a lot of time for Harry and Meghan,” the insider says.
The Tindalls keep a fairly low profile and tend to stay out of the drama surrounding the royal family. Despite Zara, 43, having every right to a royal title, her mother Princess Anne decided against it when she was born — doing the same with her brother, as well — in order to keep them a little more grounded growing up and down-to-earth as adults.
For his part, Mike, 46, agrees with the sentiment. He flatly told Closer, “I would definitely turn that down,” if offered a title in the future. The humble nature of the couple really appeals to Meghan and Harry, who have obviously been trying to accomplish something similar for the past few years since ditching royal responsibilities in January 2020.
Moreover, the source notes the couples have mutual friends, which only reinforces the Sussexes’ desire to stay as far away from Buckingham Palace as possible.
“Mike and Zara are very close friends with Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier, who are two of Harry and Meghan’s best friends,” the source says. “Delfina was even in an episode of Meghan’s new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, that’s how close they are.”
As Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, continue their lifestyle guru phase with Netflix many back in London are criticizing their direction, especially those closest to the Crown. As In Touch previously reported, Queen Camilla has been working her Machiavellian machinations within the family, pitting Meghan and her sister-in-law Kate Middleton against each other.
A second source previously dished that the two actually “have a lot in common,” and without the meddling queen, “There’s no reason why they shouldn’t get along, even if they were never destined to be BFFs.” Though nowadays their friendship is basically over, with contact between Kate and Meghan “extremely limited.”
Despite Meghan’s social life hitting a few bumps on the road — to put it mildly — following her exit from palace life, the first source adds Mike and Zara are still supportive. “Unlike a lot of the royals, Zara and Mike did watch the show and they reached out to congratulate Meghan, which meant a lot to her.”
“Both she and Harry are incredibly grateful for their loyalty and support, they know it’s not the easiest thing in the world to go against the grain. They’d love to host them in Montecito this summer, or if that doesn’t work, they’ll likely meet up in Portugal.”
