SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A longtime leader at a western South Dakota school admits to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Gloria Kitsopoulos was the superintendent and principal at the American Horse School in Allen, South Dakota.
She has signed federal court documents admitting to taking more than $755,000 between 2016 and 2020.
Kitsopoulos plans to plead guilty to theft of government property. In exchange for that plea, other federal charges will be dismissed.
