From Rap God to Rap Grandpa! Eminem is officially a grandfather for the first time, as daughter Hailie Jade has welcomed baby No. 1 with husband Evan McClintock.
Hailie, 29, announced the birth via Instagram on Friday, April 4, revealing that her and Evan’s baby boy, Elliot Marshall McClintock, was born on March 14.
“Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e,” she captioned hospital photos of the infant wearing a blue hooded outfit.
Eminem, 52, announced on October 3, 2024, that Hailie was expecting her first child via the music video for his song “Temporary.” The video featured adorable home footage of the influencer telling her dad that he would be a grandpa. She handed the 8 Mile star a blue jersey that had “Grandpa” written on the back and showed him a photo of her ultrasound. Eminem teared up as he turned to the camera with a shocked expression on his face.
The tearjerker video also featured other moments from throughout Hailie’s life, including footage of her as a little girl and on her wedding day. Eminem, who also adopted children Alaina Marie Scott and Stevie Laine Scott, dedicated “Temporary” to Hailie.
“A lot of people ask me, am I afraid of death?/ The truth is, I think what scares me the most/ Is not being able to say all the things I wanna say to you,” the rapper says in the song’s introduction. “When I’m no longer here/ So this song is for Hailie for when that day comes.”
The video and song were special to fans who have watched Hailie grow through the years. She was born one year before Eminem released his debut studio album, Infinite, and the “Houdini” rapper has written songs like “Mockingbird” and “Hailie’s Song” about his parenting journey.
Hours after the music video dropped, Hailie took to Instagram to confirm the pregnancy news by sharing her own announcement photos. The adorable snaps showed the social media personality sitting on a kitchen counter with her arms wrapped around Evan, who stood between her legs and looked down at his wife lovingly. Hailie held a set of sonogram images behind Evan’s back as she gazed into his eyes.
“mom & dad est. 2025,” she captioned the post.
The pregnancy news came after Hailie and Evan tied the knot in May.
“Waking up a wife this week,” she captioned a carousel of photos from their wedding day on Instagram. “We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”
The couple got engaged in February 2023 after nearly seven years of dating.

An insider told Daily Mail in 2018, “Hailie’s family have welcomed Evan, they are a fantastic young couple who love cozy nights in rather than hard partying. She enjoys keeping a low profile, walking her dog and going to fitness classes, hanging out with her friends and holidaying with Evan.”
