Those who run on Dunkin’ are in for a holiday treat.
It’s been almost three years — 1,037 days, to be exact — since the Pink Velvet Macchiato appeared on the coffee chain’s menu, and now it’s back.
The fan-favorite drink is “at the heart of Dunkin’s love letter to its loyal fans,” and will debut nationwide on Dec. 27 as part of a new seasonal menu, according to a news release.
Dunkin’s holiday menu will also include the Pancake Wake-Up Wrap, Frosty Red Velvet Donut, as well as the debut of White Hazelnut Bark Coffee.
The highly anticipated return of the Pink Velvet Macchiato comes after Dunkin’ received a flood of DMs, fan mail, petitions and “heartfelt pleas.”
The beloved pink drink first hit menus in January 2020 and was instant customer favorite with its espresso, red velvet cake flavor and notes of cream cheese frosting — available both hot or iced.
Pink Velvet Macchiato lovers can now indulge in the drink through late February 2024.
Dunkin’ is also introducing the new Frosty Red Velvet Specialty Donut, which the company claims is the “perfect complement to the macchiato.”
Another new addition is the White Halzenut Bark Coffee, which is inspired by one of the most popular seasonal flavors at Dunkin’, the Toasted White Chocolate Swirl.
Also returning to the winter menu is the Pancake Wake-Up Wrap — a fluffy pancake wrapped around bacon or sausage, egg and melted cheese, with a side of maple syrup for dipping.
The Sweet Black Pepper Seasoned Bacon will be making a comeback as well, available in both the Sweet Black Pepper Seasoned Bacon Sandwich and as Snackin’ Bacon.
Other items on Dunkin’s winter holiday menu include: Cookie Butter Cold Brew, Toasted White Chocolate Signature Latte, Peppermint Mocha Signature Latte, Spiced Cookie Iced Coffee, Triple Chocolate Muffin, Loaded Hash Browns
