2025 has only just begun, but the year has already been filled with tragic celebrity deaths. One of the year’s earliest losses in Hollywood was Aubrey Plaza’s husband, Jeff Baena, who died by suicide at 47 years old on January 3, TMZ reported.
General Hospital star Leslie Charleson’s death at 79 years old was confirmed by the show’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, on January 12. That same day, Dalyce Curry, who appeared as an extra in the classic films The Blues Brothers and The 10 Commandments, died at 95 after ABC7 Los Angeles confirmed her remains were discovered inside her burned-down Altadena, California, home.
Twin Peaks director David Lynch died at 78 on January 16, while later that month, it was announced that DJ Unk died at the age of 43. Irv Gotti’s family announced the Murder Inc. Records cofounder’s death on February 5.
