Britney Spears Texted Kristin Cavallari After Clone Accusations

Kristin Cavallari revealed that Britney Spears reached out to her after the Laguna Beach alum claimed that the pop icon was a Hollywood clone – and it seems like this duo may already be toxic.

“I get a call from my publicist,” Kristin, 37, told bestie Justin Anderson during the Tuesday, November 5, episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “He calls me and he goes, ‘Guess who wants your phone number?’ And I go, ‘Who?’ Britney f–king Spears!”

Kristin filled listeners in on the tea, echoing her statements from a previous episode when she said she believed that Kanye West was a clone. During her argument, she briefly brought Britney, 42, into the conversation, admitting that she thought the “Circus” singer was also a clone.

“So, Britney obviously caught wind of that. So my initial reaction was, I was scared. I’m not gonna lie. Like, they’re f–king onto me, man,” the former MTV star explained. “They did not like that podcast episode. Like, give her my number.”

Kristin later shared that Britney sent her a text in a group chat that also included the reality star’s publicist and the Grammy winner’s manager.

“I’m not gonna read it. I would love to read it. It was a bit of a roller-coaster,” Kristin continued on the podcast. “I text her separately. And I’m so nice. I’m like, ‘Hey, I’m hardly in L.A. anymore, but when I come in December, I’ll let you know. We should hang out.’”

It seems like Kristin’s olive branch was denied because she claimed that Britney “just never f–king responded.”

“Now I do think you’re a f–king clone. I don’t think it’s you. I don’t want to hang out,” the Uncommon James founder snapped.

Kristin, who previously met Britney, admitted that the singer confirmed her beliefs that the situation was “bulls–t.”

“This does not seem genuine to me. You just proved my point. You’re not trying to hang out,” the True Roots cookbook author continued. “You’re trying to shut me the f–k up because I’m obviously onto something.”

Kristin shared a clip of the conversation via Instagram, which had fans chiming off in the comments section.

“STOP IT!! Britney!!! Get her on the pod! But also….stay safe girl haha!” one person wrote.

A second person commented, “OK but we NEED to know what was said!”

The possible Kristin vs. Britney feud all began after the Hills star admitted to believing in clones during the October 15 episode of her podcast, with Ye, 47, being the main person she discussed.

“I think Kanye is a clone. I wholeheartedly believe what I’m about to say. I think there are clones and I’m gonna tell you why,” Kristin said in the episode.

The TV personality claimed that the “All Falls Down” rapper doesn’t look the same anymore and recited a quote that Kanye has said in the past.

“If I ever went anywhere you know why,” Ye said to paparazzi in a clip that was featured on the podcast.

“Look at him. Compare old photos of him. It’s not the same f–king person,” she said. “It’s not. Don’t cancel me, Hollywood.”
