Billionaire Rihanna a ‘Genius When It Comes to Business’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Rihanna has proved she’s got the Midas touch with her business endeavors, and a source exclusively tells In Touch she’s well on her way to doubling her billion-dollar fortune as big names and businesses line up to work with her in droves.

“Rihanna takes a very serious, thoughtful approach to each of her investments, she doesn’t just slap her name on her brands, she’s heavily involved in every step from the design to the marketing and the products,” the insider says of the “Diamonds” singer.

“There’s a reason everything she touches seems to turn to gold. She does thorough research and due diligence and puts in the hours.”

The Bajan beauty began her business venture with a collaboration between Fenty and Puma on a clothing line in 2016. Building the brand, she introduced Fenty Hair, Fenty Skin and Fenty Beauty, in addition to growing her fashion work.

But, like many celebrities who prefer ensuring their brands are up to their standards instead of signing off on a labeling deal, the source says she faced stiff resistance in the fashion business world.

“When she first started to expand her brand out of music and entertainment people really underestimated her but she’s proven that she’s an absolute genius when it comes to business,” the insider says.”

“She has an incredible sense of judgment, and her ventures, like her perfume line, are performing incredibly well. She’s careful to time her launches right to ensure things are successful, she starts slow and steady before diving into a new project. Her existing brands are thriving, and she’s now moving into new territories.”

Having already banked over $1.4 billion and becoming the country’s youngest self made billionaire in 2022, the superstar is now eyeing new territory to extend her business into, including children’s clothes.

A children’s line would make sense, as the source says, “She doesn’t just choose things based on what can make money, she only does things that are authentic to her.”

In a preview of what’s to come, the mom of two even posted a picture of her children wearing mini Fenty onesies that match her own, saying “Yea I know! we are officially one of those families that match for the holidays. Forever Savage Onesies for the whole family are on the site now.”

The mogul shares her children with rapper A$AP Rocky: RZA Mayers, born in May 2022, and Riot Mayers, born in August 2023. She’s expressed her disappointment with trying to find kids’ clothes she likes before, saying, “When you come up with something in your head, half the time it is not available because kids’ clothes are so … they’re so boring. I’m like, ‘This is what y’all been doing to these people’s kids all along?’”

“That’s why she’s now got her sights set on designing stuff for kids,” the source continues. “She’s a mom, she sees a hole in the marketplace and knows she can deliver stuff other parents will want.”

“A lot of people are predicting this pivot is going to bring in another massive fortune and push her into the double billionaire club.”
