Biden, Pelosi, Media, Democrat Donors Made Extreme Remarks Targeting Trump In Recent Days

Top figures on the political Left used extremist language in the last week against former President Donald Trump, including language that many critics said could be construed as incitement after a man shot Trump during a campaign rally on Saturday in what federal law enforcement officials have officially labeled an assassination attempt.

Vile threats and images from the political Left aimed at Trump are nothing new as singer Madonna said shortly after Trump took office that she thought about “blowing up the White House,”  then-CNN employee Kathy Griffin held up a severed head of Trump just a couple months after he came into office, and Missouri state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal (D) posted on social media just a couple of months later that she “hope[s] Trump is assassinated!”

President Joe Biden, who took a long time on Saturday before releasing a statement about the attempted assassination, told donors following his disastrous debate performance against Trump late last month: “We’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye.”

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said during an interview on MSNBC last week that Trump was “such an authoritarian and autocrat.”

“This is not a normal election where you want to win, if you don’t, you cooperate and do the best you can for the country and hope to win the next time,” she said. “This is something that is undermining our democracy. He must be stopped. He cannot be president!”

Far-Left MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid said earlier this month that Democrats needed to figure out who the party’s nominee would be so that she could vote to “keep Hitler out of the White House.”

Democrat megadonor Reid Hoffman made controversial remarks in response to a comment from Republican billionaire Peter Thiel this last week, who said that all of Hoffman’s lawsuits against Trump have turned Trump into a “martyr.”

“Yeah, I wish I had made him an actual martyr,” Hoffman responded.

X owner Elon Musk responded to Hoffman’s remarks in a post following the assassination attempt, writing: “The Reid Hoffman’s of the world got their dearest wish … but then the martyr lived.”

The suspect — identified by the FBI as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks — was shot and killed after he fired multiple rounds at Trump, one of which was inches from being a potentially fatal hit. At least one Trump supporter in the crowd was killed, and two more were seriously injured during the attack, the U.S. Secret Service said in a statement.

As shots rang out, Trump grabbed his ear — a journalist captured a photograph of what could have been the bullet after it hit Trump and traveled past his head — and Secret Service shouted, “Get down! Get down! Get down!”

Trump dropped to the ground as he was tackled by Secret Service where he remained until the gunman was neutralized by law enforcement.

Before they moved him off the stage, Trump yelled at the agents: “Wait! Wait! Wait!” Then, looking at the thousands of supporters who showed up, he raised his fist and shouted: “Fight! Fight! Fight!”
