As Team Trump cracks down on border, get set for ever louder squals of outrage
Setting US immigration policy straight is all about undoing the left’s funhouse-mirror insanity.
Consider what the Trump team’s done with obscene CBP One app, the tool the Biden crew built for with tax dollars to let illegal migrants schedule their border jump like it was a nail appointment.
Now it has become CBP Home — an app those here illegally can use to notify the feds of their intent to depart the country, i.e. self-deport.
Using it may clear you for a later shot at legal entry; those who fail to and get caught will be barred from ever entering the United States again.
Like Jeanette Vizguerra, a serial illegal-immigrator who took advantage of a lefty church to hide from deportation for years in Colorado and so become a progressive cause célèbre.
ICE finally got her Monday, whereupon Denver’s monstrously woke Mayor Mike Johnston — who’s suggested he’ll use Denver police to foil ICE enforcement efforts — likened sending this “political dissident” home to Vladimir Putin’s oppression in Russia.
Border czar Tom Homan gets it.
After Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s talk of the Trump border crackdown as somehow “taking attention, focus, real dollars and real resources” away from fighting unspecified crimes, Homan explained: “That means I’m over the target. That means I’m making a difference.”
Right on both counts.
For the pro-crime left, endless illegal immigration is the point of governing; AOC and her allies are the ones enabling the criminals.
The Trump administration can and will win the fight on the border; it’s already brought illegal crossings down 96%.
Lefties’ histrionic shrieking only proves how much they hate their country and its everyday citizens.
