Antonio Guterres phase out fossil fuels

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is challenging climate alarmism and calling for the eventual phase-out of fossil fuels.
“Do not reduce. Do not decrease. Phase out with a clear timetable aligned with 1.5 degrees,” he said during a speech.
Guterres spoke dramatically of “the disease that is bringing our climate to its knees. A disease that only you, world leaders, can cure.” He stated that “Earth’s vital signs are failing.”
“We can, you can, prevent planetary collapse and fire,” Guterres declared.
He said that “climate chaos is fanning the flames of injustice” and called for accelerating a “just and equitable transition to renewable energy.”

“You first abandon fossil fuels, Mr. UN Secretary. Lead by example,” Gabriella Hoffman tweeted.
“Do you want a better world? Reduce the power of politicians and globalists”, someone else wrote.
“Well, as Secretary-General of the UN, please tell us which people should be the first to starve when you try to keep the grid on and at the same time produce fertilizer with only renewable energy?” someone else aware.
The Executive Secretary of UN Climate Change, Simon Stiell, recently stated during a speech“If we do not signal the terminal decline of the fossil fuel era as we know it, we welcome our own terminal decline.”
