Wendy’s is offering 1-cent bacon cheeseburgers this week — here’s how to get them
A penny saved is a bacon cheeseburger earned this week.
From Wednesday through Jan. 2, 2024, Wendy’s customers can score a junior bacon cheeseburger for only 1 cent, Fox Business reported.
It’s all in celebration of the upcoming National Bacon Day on Dec. 30.
“It’s a favorite of bacon lovers everywhere,” the fast-food joint’s menu boasts of the 370-calorie junior burger, which is made with fresh beef, Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and Heinz mayonnaise.
Still, there are a few important conditions connected to the deal that ravenous patrons should be mindful of.
All 1-cent burgers must be ordered through the Wendy’s app — via Wendy’s rewards program — and have to be purchased alongside another item.
There can be only one penny burger bought per order at participating locations, and the offer can’t be used as part of a combo meal.
This burger bonanza follows another recent penny offer from Wendy’s that allows customers to gulp down Coca-Cola Freestyle drinks for just a single cent.
Making a $3 donation to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption will also reward customers with a free junior Frosty — via a key tag to show at the fast food joint — for all of 2024.
Donations can be made up until Valentine’s Day.
