Sarita Choudhury admires Prabal Gurung’s cool styles

Sarita Choudhury is one chill friend.

Although it was freezing on Saturday, the actor wore an unseasonably sheer white camisole and floaty pants to her pal Prabal Gurung’s show in the historic Surrogate’s Court.

“I was like, I’m going to be cold for him and wear something super white, not warm and promote him,” she told Alexa. “For someone else, I would pick the most warm. I love him.”

Choudhury just wrapped the third season of the hit series, “And Just Like That,” which drops this spring. She enjoys playing fan favorite Seema Patel, a fiercely independent real estate agent.

“It’s fun to be a badass if it’s written well and you get the good zinger,” said Choudhury, who sat front row along with Ari Lennox, Rachel Zoe, Grace VanderWaal, Sai De Silva and Camila Coelho. “It comes to me super easily because I think it’s been stored all of life waiting to be used. Maybe it’s my alter ego, because I’m more the good girl in life.”

Both goodies and baddies will find plenty to wear on Gurung’s runway. The designer, whose long-awaited memoir “Walk Like a Girl,” is out in mid-May, sent out casually undone looks: oversized black leather trousers with a pinstriped white shirt buttoned low, a huge checked jacket over a tiny miniskirt and a chartreuse cargo skirt paired with a sparkly collared top. The effect was nonchalant.

For evening, there were dresses fluttering with 3D floral appliqués and darkly elegant coats and gowns dripping with fringe.

At the end of the show, all 42 models filled the Sienna marble grand staircase in the rotunda and applauded as Gurung took a bow.

It was a heart-warming sight on a very frigid day.
