Sense of ‘Fatalism’ Around Oasis Tour as A-Listers Scramble (EXCL)

Hollywood stars are frantically trying to out-bid each other for tickets to Oasis this summer, according to a source, who exclusively tells In Touch it’s gotten mighty frantic and challenging for the biggest names on the planet – including Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Cruise and the Kardashians – to secure tickets for the most hotly awaited music event of modern times.

“Oasis’ reunion tour next year has emerged as one of the hottest tickets in Hollywood, with a twist,” says a qualified source of the situation, “Even though their 2025 Rose Bowl appearance is sold out, most of the Gen-X and Millennial A-listers who love the band are badgering their agents for tickets to the first leg of the tour in the U.K., the consensus among celebrity fans being that the bickering Gallagher brothers could implode and the tour could get cancelled in the early going.”

The band, which formed in Manchester in 1991 is composed essentially of Noel and Liam Gallagher, two incendiary personalities known for their outrageous behavior, unpredictable nature and hard-living, hard-partying lifestyles. Their infamous feuds have torn the band apart before, notably in 2009 when Noel, 57, abruptly quit the band, which is regarded as one of the most popular and successful in history.

But over the years the brothers reconciled, and on 27 August 2024, two days before the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, they announced a world-wide reunion tour, though initially only gave European dates. They’ve since expanded confirmed dates throughout November 2025 that will take them to Asia, Australia and the Americas – but only if they can manage to be in each other’s company for that long.

“Nonetheless, Oasis’ celebrity fan base is still massive and extremely nostalgic, especially among Jennifer Aniston’s generation of stars who got super-famous in the mid-nineties,” the insider says. “Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Ewan MacGregor, Tom Cruise – they all love the band and are glad they’re back.”

The tickets for the Euro-leg initially went on sale via ballot and even asked fans how many times they had seen the band and required potential buyers to identify the name of the band’s original drummer, Tony McCarroll, in order to secure tickets. Many would-be attendees watched in horror as pre-sale tickets were immediately put up for thousands of dollars.

Even though Gen-X A-listers are shelling out mega bucks for tickets anyway, the source makes the point of saying, “to reiterate, I don’t think any of these people think the Gallaghers can hold it together and that has created an incredible sense of urgency, and fatalism, around this tour.”

“This is a different phenomenon than Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour last year, where a lot of stars just wanted to bring their kids or younger relatives. The Oasis revival is a lot more about stars in their fifties and sixties who want to relive their glory days of the nineties – and that’s driving all the demand in Hollywood for tickets to those precious early dates of the tour in England.”
